Message from the Interim Director of Extension

It has been a year since I was appointed Interim Director of Arizona Cooperative Extension, and although they say time flies when you are having fun – the time has flown, but I’m not 100% sure about the fun part. I will tell you that it has been educational, informative, and at times, challenging. But in the end, I believe we have all done exceptionally well during this transitional period. The support I have received from faculty, staff, and administration has been outstanding. The work done by Cooperative Extension never ceases to amaze me, as we all continue to serve the people of Arizona. I know the next year will be filled with opportunities and challenges for all of us. However, I also know that Extension has the right people, in the right place, to take on whatever comes next. Thank you all for your continued commitment and dedication to Arizona Cooperative Extension and for an exciting year. I can’t wait to see what we’ll do next!
