Additionally, the City of Tucson Mayor and Council have approved our One-Year Action Plan, guiding our focus on high-priority initiatives for a vibrant downtown.

We're also excited about the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Workshops, aimed at empowering local entrepreneurs with valuable insights and resources. City Council Approves DTP's One-Year Action Plan

We are pleased to announce that the City of Tucson Mayor and Council have approved the Downtown Tucson Partnership's (DTP) One-Year Action Plan at last Tuesday's council meeting. This plan, a condensed roadmap from our Five-Year Strategic Plan 2022-2027, focuses on high-priority items for the Business Improvement District. It aligns with our mission and remains flexible, with monthly reviews to adapt to evolving needs. By fostering strong partnerships and leveraging collective resources, we aim to enhance downtown operations and services.

DTP Connects Reinvigorated by New Partnership

We are thrilled to announce that the DTP has joined forces with Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) to reintroduce our DTP Connects Program. Every Sunday and Wednesday, a DTP Ambassador will accompany outreach specialists from CBI in the DTP Connects mobile unit. These specialists actively engage with individuals experiencing homelessness, connecting them to essential resources and support services. Additionally, they ensure their information is accurately recorded in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).

Empowering Small Businesses through Workshops

The Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Office of Mayor Regina Romero and Wells Fargo, is hosting a series of Small Business Workshops to empower entrepreneurs and foster economic growth in Tucson. These monthly workshops, starting May 28, will cover essential topics like marketing, financial management, and business planning, offering participants valuable insights and networking opportunities. Businesses: Sign Up For TPD Camera Registry

The Tucson Police Department camera registry allows residents and business owners to voluntarily register their surveillance cameras with the police department. Police will not have access to the camera systems but will be aware that a camera exists when investigating a crime in or around the neighborhood. Learn more and sign up here.

HUB Camps Out at Playground for the Summer

HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery is relocating next door to Playground until mid-September, while HUB undergoes an exciting transformation including an expanded restaurant area with a larger bar, new booths and a revamped ice cream station. Playground's nightclub will still be open on Friday and Saturday nights. There will also be complimentary valet parking at the neighboring AC Hotel during the summer for restaurant guests. Streetcar Cruising Into Summer Schedule

Sun Link streetcar modified its service schedule to summer hours to better serve the community during the hot summer months. The Sun Link streetcar adjustments include Monday through Thursday service until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday nights until midnight and Sunday until 8 p.m. Experience the convenience and accessibility of fare-free transit this summer! Tucson's Most Epic Night Running Party is Back

Experience the vibrant energy of downtown at Run Tucson's 18th Annual TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Run/Walk and Raising Cane's Festival of Miles on Saturday, June 1! Savor complimentary beer samples from Pueblo Vida as you groove to the rhythms of Legion of Mario's live music. Treat your palate to various delectable offerings from food trucks, while the Children's Museum Tucson provides fun entertainment for the little ones.
