The university's Strategic Planning Steering Committee has unveiled an interactive website to present a draft of its proposed strategic plan, “Creating the World We Want to Live In: LMU, 2021-26.” The draft, which emerged from an in-depth consultative process, is introduced by a brief video and includes a survey for community feedback. Kat Duncan ’09 will show students " How to Polish Your Resume & Nail the Interview" on Feb. 17 from 12-1 p.m. The event will look at frequent resume errors and provide interviewing tips. Duncan will also discuss her career path. A partner in the Seattle office of Fenwick & West LLP, she advises emerging and high-growth companies on a wide variety of issues, including venture capital financings, corporate governance, equity and employment issues, and licensing and commercial matters. Alumnus George C. Fatheree ’07 will join Dean Michael Waterstone's Distinguished Speaker Series to discuss his efforts to put together a bid by the J. Paul Getty Trust to acquire the company behind Ebony and Jet magazines, which commissioned some of the most important and iconic images in Black American history. Admissions Office Housing SurveyThe Admissions Office has launched an anonymous survey to obtain information about current students’ housing experiences. This information will be distributed to admitted students and will help them locate the housing that best suits their needs. Please take a few minutes to share your insights with the next generation of LMU Loyola Law students via the LMU Loyola Law School 2020 Housing Survey. The survey should take approximately five minutes to complete.
