Hello downtown friends -
2023 is a milestone year for the Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) as we celebrate our 25 year anniversary! Since 1998, the DTP has been Downtown Tucson's #1 advocate, providing enhanced services to accelerate the revitalization and economic development of downtown.
We are excited about the future as we begin a new fiscal year with our freshly-inked five-year strategic plan in hand. Thank you to all of our new and longstanding partners including the City of Tucson, Pima County, Rio Nuevo, Holualoa Companies, and the downtown property owners who make up the Business Improvement District (BID).
The BID is Tucson's cultural and economic core with eight theatre and performance venues; over 70 food and drink establishments; approximately 80 shops, service, and entertainment establishments; hundreds of events and major festivals; a transportation hub with the Ronstadt Transit Center and Sun Link Streetcar; thousands of residents; tens of thousands of employees; and hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
The DTP is committed to providing the extra care required to ensure downtown’s health, vibrancy, beauty and safety for many years to come.
