RTSWS Students Shine at the 2025 COLAB Connects Career Forum |
RTSWS High School and University students joined leading firms at the 2025 COLAB Connects Career Forum, exploring career paths in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and investment banking.
Our Founder, Maura Cunningham, served as a Roundtable Captain, leading discussions on mentorship and access to the industry. Students brought outstanding energy and curiosity, connecting with RTSWS to learn more about our Career Center and Coffee Chat opportunities.
RTSWS student Dheenah W., one of the few high school students invited to attend, reflected, “Being in such an advanced, high-paced environment inspires me to work harder... Thank you to RTSWS for giving me these incredible opportunities.”
That drive to learn and grow was echoed by students across the event as they gained firsthand insights from panels, industry volunteers, and financial professionals committed to opening doors for the next generation. See what’s next by visiting our Career Center.

Top of Mind Priorities for Young Women in Finance
|
|
|
|
From Ashley Leftwich, CEO, Rock The Street, Wall Street
Over the past month, our team has coordinated more than 100 university and high school events across three countries, talking with young women eager to pursue financial careers. They have many questions about career paths and expectations, which often center on three themes: finding stability, making a difference, and building connections.
|
| |
Finding Stability
Students are entering a world shaped by AI, social media, and economic uncertainty. They want to understand what stability looks like in finance and what a “day in the life” really means. At RTSWS, we’ve spoken with several influential female investors who share insights and lessons learned with students and alumni.
Making a Difference
McKinsey research shows that Gen Z places high importance on sustainability and social impact when choosing careers. While students learn how finance drives change through areas such as impact investing, green finance, and community development, they begin to see how their values align with the industry.
Building Connections
Finance can feel like an insider’s world. Through our Career Center, RTSWS helps students gain access and navigate the industry, building networks, meeting mentors, and finding internships that open doors. Interested in spending 30 minutes on a student phone call? Volunteer today for Coffee Chats.

| Don’t Just Save Your Candy! |
As we’re counting our Halloween treats, it’s also World Savings Day, the perfect reminder that building wealth starts with small, consistent habits.
At RTSWS we show students that saving is an important first step. Strong financial futures are built by understanding and harnessing the power of the financial markets.
When the candy’s gone, our students know the sweetest returns come from building knowledge and starting early.
Support programs that teach the next generation Financial & Investment fundamentals.
