Independents Report 27% Increase In Same-Store Sales For Week 2 of May

Independent grocers reported their same-store sales for the second week of May were up 27.05 percent compared to the same week in 2019. On the other hand, consumer count came back negative, this week 7.20 percent less than the same period last year.

Prices are tumbling at an alarming rate
