Note from the Dean
This winter has been an exciting one for Owen’s entrepreneurship community. The Center for Entrepreneurship (C4E) held its second annual Vanderbilt Entrepreneurship Conference on January 10. The Conference, hosted on campus in collaboration with the Wond’ry, attracted over 200 participants to hear stories and advice from Vanderbilt entrepreneurs. The group also participated in conversations centered on ideation, growth, and investing in the startup space.
Owen’s C4E has also launched a new program called Vanderbilt Ventures, designed to bring startup and venture communities together. In the past year, we have hosted two of these events in Nashville and a recent one in New York held at the Nasdaq’s MarketSite on Times Square. Our goal is to build the alumni startup community and integrate them into the campus ecosystem. We look forward to hearing from more alumni as they share their startup stories.
Best,
Eric
