Role-playing the part
Assistant Professor of History Nicole Bauer fosters learning and laughter in her classes, often through the medium of role-playing. A proponent of innovative teaching, her role-playing sessions make lasting impressions on her students as they engage with subjects as varied as the Enlightenment and the Spanish Civil War. "I love tapping into my creative side," Bauer said, "and I love bringing out the creativity in others."
