A rockin’ monstrous moment
Suddenly in spring 2020, Michelle Martin, director of the Sherman Smith Family Gallery at the Zarrow Center, found she had to pivot her printmaking class when courses switched online. Instead of making art in a traditional hands-on way, students jolted into digital production. Their “Monster Project” resulted in a unique book featuring work that fits these strange times.

For the third year running, students in the family nurse practitioner (FNP) program administered no-cost sports physicals for young athletes at a local Tulsa school. Beyond expanding access for active youth, the FNP students gained valuable experience delivering primary care.
