Friends in high places
The University of Tulsa’s Collins College of Business has announced its 2023-24 lineup for the annual Friends of Finance Executive Speaker Series. The series, which brings leading executives to campus to share insights into important business issues, kicks off Sept. 20 with Shane Wharton, who was named president of Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in April 2019.

Presidential Visit
Mary Smith recently chose the City of Tulsa and The University of Tulsa’s College of Law for her first official stop since becoming president of the American Bar Association. Smith is the first Native American woman to lead the ABA and graciously participated in a wide-ranging question-and-answer session with TU Law students before meeting with Tribal representatives and attending a reception with TU Law alumni and faculty.
