Telework Bingo - Round Two!

If you're anything like me, you may be feeling the ennui of life in 100 days of...whatever this is that we are doing now. Some of the momentum and gusto that was present in the beginning is giving way to boredom and antsiness.

Well once again you're not alone, so we've decided to roll out round two of our popular Telework Bingo!

Here's how it works:

Print or save the Bingo card (click here for the PDF!)
Take a couple of weeks and mark off the experiences you have - there are even some where you can make up your own!
Make sure we see it by taking a photo of your card and...
- Emailing it to jzucker@bethesda.org
- Posting a photo of it on BTS' Facebook page
- Tweeting it to us @bethesdatransit

To qualify for the prize drawing, you only need one row marked off. That row can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal!

The deadline for sending us your card is Friday, July 3, 2020. We will do a random drawing of qualifying entries and if you win, we will send you an e-gift card!

Bethesda's Streetery - And a Circulator Change!

Have you been to the Bethesda Urban Partnership's new Streetery in the Woodmont Triangle? If not, give it a try!

The Streetery is located at:

• Norfolk Avenue, between St. Elmo Avenue and Cordell Avenue
• Norfolk Avenue, between Cordell Avenue and Del Ray Avenue
• Woodmont Avenue, between Elm Street and Bethesda Avenue
• Veterans Park, corner of Norfolk and Woodmont Avenues
• Cordell Avenue, between the parking garage near Old Georgetown Road and Triangle Towers

Streetery hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 5pm – 10pm on Cordell Avenue and 11am - 10pm at the other locations.

All tables are spaced at least 6 feet apart to accommodate social distancing and are thoroughly cleaned after each party of no more than 4 leaves. It's a great place to safely socialize while you dine on takeout from your favorite Bethesda restaurant!

In addition, the Bethesda Circulator is back in service with new operating hours - Monday - Friday: 7am until 11pm Saturday: 10am until 11pm - and a route that's modified to accommodate the Streetery. Click here for more information.

Vision Zero Wants to Hear From You!

Vision Zero, Montgomery County's Plan to eliminate fatalities and injuries on County roads by 2030, is conducting a survey until August 7.

The purpose of the survey is to ascertain what different stakeholder groups think Montgomery County should do to make streets safer for walking, biking, wheelchair/scooter use, as well as for driving over the next ten years.
