Reunion Weekend is just around the corner! I am grateful for the opportunity to welcome you to this edition of Tidings, as we prepare for what will be a fabulous celebration of connections old and new.
After graduating from Endicott with a B.S. in Hospitality Management in 2018, the profound impact of my experience at the Nest sparked a passion in me to create similar, transformative, experiences for college students. I went on to receive a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Elon University and now serve as a Resident Director at the University of Southern Maine.
That’s enough about me though…let’s talk about the reason why I was asked to write this letter: Reunion! This special time of year is an opportunity for us alumni to get together, reminisce about shared experiences, rekindle old friendships and make new connections with fellow alumni. Whether this is your first time celebrating reunion (class of 2018, I’m looking at you) or you are a seasoned participant, I encourage you to mark your calendars to join us June 2–4.
As a member of the Alumni Council, I also want to bring your attention to another exciting opportunity. The Alumni Council is actively seeking individuals who are passionate about Endicott and wish to have an ongoing impact on our alma mater. This is a great opportunity to help shape the direction of the college, positively impacting future generations of Endicott students, while also making connections with a great group of alumni.
With Reunion Weekend approaching, I encourage folks to reflect on the memories from your time at Endicott. If there is someone you’ve meant to connect with, reach out. Above all, I want to say thank you for being a part of the Endicott community, having an engaged body of alumni is integral to the success of our alma mater. I eagerly await connecting with many of you at reunion as we find our way back to the Nest in a few weeks.

Endicott Students Win Hydropower Collegiate Competition in D.C.
|
A group of Endicott students rose to the challenge and beat top engineering schools like Yale and Cornell at this year’s Hydropower Collegiate Competition, sponsored by the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory and held May 7 through May 9 at Waterpower Week in Washington, D.C.
The hydropower industry is critical to the Biden Administration’s goal of achieving a carbon pollution-free power sector by 2035. Now in its second year, the competition called on interdisciplinary teams of students to design a concept to solve leading hydropower challenges.
