Oleg Kargaltsev was awarded a $79,710 grant from NASA Goddard LOC for his study of the X-ray spectrum of isolated rotation-powered pulsars.

Shannon McFarlin received a $397,655 grant from the National Science Foundation to investigate and develop a comprehensive framework for deciphering hard tissue evidence of weaning variation in wild great apes.
