The Leo Kent, Tucson's newest hotel, opened its doors this past Wednesday. The Leo Kent is centrally located in the heart of downtown and offers upscale accommodations and cuisine for guests to enjoy. Take Flight Aerial, a new aerial yoga studio provides an opportunity for Tucsonans and visitors to get out of their current routine and experience something new. TPD and DTP Host Successful Training at the Fox
This past Tuesday, Tucson Police Department (TPD) Sergeant Darrell Hussman gave free De-escalation Training to nearly 100 stakeholders from downtown businesses and organizations. Special thank you to the Fox Tucson Theatre for graciously opening its doors to the downtown community.

Haiku Hike - Final Weeks
The DTP and UA Poetry Center Haiku Hike is ending on June 1. This year's theme is Planting Seeds. The hike is approximately 1,000 steps and is a fun, free, and family-friendly activity. Click here for a map of the 20 winning haiku.

Take an Aerial Yoga Class at Take Flight
Take Flight Aerial has moved downtown adjacent to City High School at 37 E. Pennington Street. Sign up for a small group class, workshop, intensive series, or private lesson. Come for a positive, encouraging, and safe environment while "taking flight," and participating in floor strengthening exercises. Classes consist of aerial silks, Lyra, drills, aerial yoga, and fundamental aerial skills for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level students.Â

RetroTrek Opens at Proper Shops
RetroTrek has set up shop at Proper Shops located at 300 E. Congress Street! RetroTrek offers a variety of products like calendars, mugs, prints, stickers, and more which feature iconic Tucson images. Proper Shops' hours are Thursdays 3-8 p.m., Fridays 3-9 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Your Input Needed for Improvements at Armory Park
Join Tucson Parks and Recreation for an Armory Park Block Party this Saturday, May 20, from 9-11 a.m., at Armory Park, 220 S. 5th Avenue. Come play games, make some chalk art, listen to music, enjoy snow cones and popcorn, and find out about future projects at this park from Parks and Recreation staff. Take this survey to help gauge the community's priorities for future improvements and amenities at this park. TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run/Walk
Enjoy a 3.1 mile journey through the beautiful Armory Park neighborhood on Saturday, May 27. This exciting event will have free beer, live music, food trucks, prizes, kid-friendly activities, and a Hotel Congress after-party. Register minors online for a free mile run. Free Live and Local Music at El Mezquite
El Mezquite, located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Tucson Downtown Convention Center, is offering a free music series every Monday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. on the El Mezquite patio. Come listen to some tunes and have a relaxing evening after work or bring a friend and enjoy a lovely evening downtown.
