Do You Have Students in the Top 2%?  

Each additional degree earned by your students moves them into a smaller circle of NSDA members. Check out why degrees matter for programs and see a breakdown of high school student membership at each degree level here. Be sure to enter remaining points before graduation to ensure your team ends the year with the highest degree levels possible. Remember, points can be earned for service activities, too!

Upcoming Webinar: Imagining Latinidad for Speech and Debate

Join us Tuesday, April 30 at 1:00 p.m. CT for Imagining Latinidad for Speech and Debate presented by Dr. Darrel Wanzer-Serrano, Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Associate Director of Latina/o Studies at the University of Iowa.
This webinar will introduce participants to core concepts and histories of Latina/o/x Studies and peoples, with an eye toward issues that would be most relevant to speech and debate coaches trying to serve Latina/o/x student populations. Key issues will include terminology (Hispanic, Latina/o/x, Latinidad), demographic information and history, and some practical and easy-to-implement suggestions to aid in recruitment, retention, and post-secondary placement of Latina/o/x students.

Membership Pre-payment Available for 2019-2020

We appreciate having you as part of our community! Your current school membership is valid through July 2019. We hope you will choose to continue participating in our Honor Society again next school year.
If you're ready to renew now, or if you have funds remaining to pre-pay next year's Resource Package subscription or student memberships, log in and visit the School Finances tab in your NSDA Account. From there, you can generate invoices for the 2019-2020 school year, which you will be asked to activate after August 1, 2019.

Apply for the William Woods Tate, Jr., Memorial Fund 

The William Woods Tate, Jr., Memorial Fund is designed to help schools and students attending the National Speech & Debate Tournament for the first time, as well as schools with demonstrated financial need. Applications will be accepted until April 30. To access the online form, please click here.  

Hall of Fame Voting

Current Hall of Fame members and active coaches with three or more diamonds may vote online to select this year's inductees to the Hall of Fame. To vote, log in to your Account and select NSDA Voting from the left side menu. Voting closes Friday, April 26.
