Power upgrades at campus buildings

Oncor is upgrading electrical lines at UTA starting Friday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. until Sunday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m. During the scheduled power transfer, the following buildings may experience a brief interruption in electrical service. Once these upgrades are complete, Oncor will be able to provide more stable power in the future.

The Science and Engineering Innovation and Research building and the School of Social Work/Smart Hospital building will operate on generators during the upgrade.

Server update at UTA's Police Department
|
UTA's Police Department is getting a critical server update on Sunday, Aug. 3, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time several systems including the police dispatch system, will be offline. A MavAlert with contact information for the Police Department during the update will be sent when the system goes offline and when the system is restored.
