| Quaker Survey on Disabilities & Belonging
|
Beacon Hill Friends House just launched a short survey: Disability and Belonging in Quaker Communities, which explores understanding the experiences and needs of disabled Quakers/Quakers with disabilities.
We hope to hear from Friends who identify as disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, Deaf and/or hard of hearing, or as having access needs that are not frequently met by default. Responses will help identify priorities for further conversation and action, and inform how Quaker meetings and organizations can better respond to the experiences and access needs of Friends with disabilities.

Facing Dementia Together: A BYM/NEYM Series |
Dementia is a common yet complex condition. Even though dementia is present in our communities, it isn't always easy for us to talk about openly. This workshop series offers a loving, honest space for interested Friends. We invite caregivers, Friends experiencing cognitive decline, and those serving their Quaker meeting including in roles such as clerk, members of pastoral care, ministry & council, or nominating committees to join us. Together, we will explore how our communities can better understand dementia and support the participation of Friends living with dementia and their loved ones. The event flyer, below, is available for posting in your Meeting.
