How to Start This Semester Stress-Free
With COVID-19 behind us, the majority of classes are now held in-person. We spent a year getting accustomed to a “new-normal” but now it is time for us to get back to our normal-normal.
Getting back to in-person classes and moving about on campus is much different than what we have gotten used to. Understandably, you may feel more stressed than you have in the past when starting a new semester. Here’s a list of some things you can do to get back onto campus and start this semester stress-free.
•Take a course-load that you feel comfortable with –loading it up with credits may sound great during the summer, but in reality, it may be more than you are ready for.
•Create a time management system –managing your time will be important as we transition back to normal life. No more watching TV while reading your class textbooks!
•Take a look at on-campus clubs –while student clubs adapted to COVID-19, expect to be able to join in-person events on campus that you know and love.
•Take time to yourself –amping up the level of social interaction so quickly can take a toll on your energy levels, especially after socially-distancing for an entire year. Find time to relax and work on yourself.
