Welcome to New Readers and Two Calls for Student Nominations |
Dear Colleagues,
First, welcome new readers! We have added a number of spring 2026 instructors to our newsletter mailing list based on classes you are teaching next semester.
For readers both new and old, the Writing Studio is here to support your students and the important work you do as instructors who teach and assign writing. You play an essential role in connecting students with us each time you recommend our services, set up a Brief Writing Studio Introduction presentation, or request an In-Class Writing Workshop. I hope that this newsletter will help you keep the Writing Studio in mind and, as a result, on your students’ minds, as well.
If you would like to continue receiving the Writing Studio’s monthly faculty newsletter after April 2026, please take just a moment to opt in using the button below:

The Writing Studio Needs your Help: Two Calls for Nominations
Next, I'm using my note to ask for your help in a particular way: As the semester comes to a close, please consider nominating your strongest students and their strongest writing for the following opportunities (keep reading below for more information about both):
Receiving your nomination will mean an awful lot to your students, and they help us identity and connect with students who are a good fit to present at the symposium and to help keep the Writing Studio going strong next academic year as a member of our dedicated staff.
Submitting a nomination takes just a few moments, and now you can nominate the same students for both opportunities simultaneously through our new, combined instructor nomination form.
Thank you!
