Dia de Donar Sangre

Friday, June 29, Cal Expo - Buildings C & D, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Give blood, save a life and get free stuff in exchange! Participants will receive one admission ticket to the California State Fair, an exclusive 2018 Dia de Donor Sangre T-shirt and MyBloodSource Rewards, redeemable online for a variety of great items. Donors can also join Be The Match@, the national marrow registry for those 18 - 44 years old, providing another opportunity to save lives.

Univision 19 will broadcast live from the event throughout the day, and participants can enjoy food generously donated by Chick-fil-A.

Parking is free through the Blue Gate, located off Challenge Way and Exposition Blvd.

SMUD Cares at the Fair Giving Monday

Monday, July 16 & 23, until 3 p.m.

Silent Disco Comes to the Fair

California State Fair, July 13 - 29, Expo Center #1
New in 2018, Silent Disco takes over the Fair! Put on a pair of special headphones and groove to music only you can hear! Kid-friendly music plays until 5 p.m., after that, DJ's will battle to get the most participants listening to their station. Free with Fair admission.

California State Fair Inaugural Youth Mariachi Competition

Sunday, July 22, PG&E Center Stage, 2 - 5 p.m.
All teams will showcase their talents in front of fair-goers and compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to meet the members of Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, performing that night as part of the Toyota Concert Series on the Golden 1 Main Stage. Get your tickets today! Funded in part by Visit Sacramento through funds generated by the Sacramento Tourism Marketing District.
