Peak Performance
Whether he’s standing on the sidelines, ready to assess an injury, or conducting one-on-one physical therapy in Memorial Fieldhouse, Athletic Trainer Jason Hand serves Puget Sound’s 500 student-athletes as a member of the sports medicine staff. Originally from the East Coast, Hand fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while attending grad school in Oregon. Since 2012, he’s helped Loggers participating in sports through injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and preventative care. The most rewarding part of his job is seeing an injured athlete overcome physical and mental barriers to get back to the activities they enjoy. When he isn’t working with patients, Hand likes to be outdoors, hiking, camping, snowboarding, bicycling, or golfing.
