Bryan Boesen '94 has been promoted to Managing Director of Morgan Stanley's Des Moines Wealth Management office. Boesen was also recently named to Forbes Magazine's list of America's Best-in-State Wealth Advisors, receiving the top ranking in the state of Iowa for the second time in the last three years.
Clare Duwelius '08 was recently featured in a story highlighting her career and current position as Assistant General Manager for the WNBA team the Minnesota Lynx. Duwelius was a four-sport athlete at Dowling Catholic before she began her four-year collegiate basketball career at Wayne State College where she led the Wildcats to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2012. Congratulations to Karissa Schweizer '14, a member of the Bowerman Track Club, who broke an American record with a time of 8:25.70 in the 3000 at the Last Chance Invitational at Boston University on Thursday, February 27. Schweizer's time is the fastest ever by an American woman over 3k, indoors or out.
Matt Haack '13, a punter for the Miami Dolphins was recognized along with teammate and kicker Jason Sanders for winning the Play of the Year during the NFL Honors ceremony on February 1. The play took place during the Dolphins' upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Read more in the Miami Herald online.
