CBRE Selected to Revitalize Gwinnett Place Mall

CBRE, the world's largest commercial real estate services firm, was recently selected by Gwinnett County to help advance the redevelopment of Gwinnett Place Mall. In 2023, Gwinnett County adopted the strategic revitalization plan spearheaded by the CID to replace the mall with seven residential villages with residential units, commercial office space, restaurants, shops, green space and a cultural center.
CBRE will work to revitalize the 39-acre site into a mixed-use community hub for Georgia's second most populous county. The mall has been famous for filming locations (it is an iconic backdrop for Netflix's "Stranger Things") but now it is finally time to reimagine the mall into a new and vibrant development in the county.
