COMMENCEMENT DEADLINES
If your graduation application to participate in Spring 2024 Commencement was approved, you can log in to RSVP and select an in-person or virtual experience option starting today, March 27. You also will receive an RSVP prompt sent to your official UNT email.
The RSVP window closes at 5 p.m. Friday, April 12.
Master’s and bachelor’s degree recipients have until Monday, April 1, to order regalia online. For in person purchases, the UNT Barnes & Noble bookstore will have master’s and bachelor’s regalia available through Sunday, May 12.
Look over the Mean Green Gowns for Grads program and learn if you qualify to complete the appropriate application to borrow a FREE cap and gown. The sooner you submit your application, the better. Some restrictions may apply.

Did you miss Scrappy’s Finals Countdown last semester? The official countdown to finals returns with a weeklong list of activities, events and study sessions to help you tackle your exams!
Mark your calendar for Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3. The complete list of activities and website will be announced in a future UNT Weekly issue, so be on the lookout!

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20, at the Gateway Center, but you must complete the presentation proposal form by Monday, April 1.

CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES
As Maple Street construction progresses, the plans are to re-open the north side of the street to traffic this week and move the construction zone to the south side.
The sidewalk between the Wesley Foundation and Kerr Hall, including the Avenue B intersection and crosswalk, will be closed during this phase. Temporary crossings at Maple Hall and Kerr Hall will be installed for pedestrians.

PODCAST PREMIERE
Happy Friday, North Texas! — a new podcast for the entire UNT community — officially debuts this week. Episodes will feature the stories that make UNT unique, with a little something for everyone.

COURT ON CAMPUS
Do you have an outstanding ticket with the Denton Municipal Court? Resolve pending citations, traffic tickets or parking tickets with the court from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in University Union 332.
You also can discuss options for keeping a citation off your record. For those with municipal court warrants who attend the event, the court will remove the warrant and waive the $50 fee.

UNT DAY AT SIX FLAGS
On Saturday, March 30, you’re invited to help turn the Six Flags park Mean Green! Tickets for this day will be discounted to $35 plus tax (not including parking).
To receive the discount, UNT community members must purchase tickets on the Six Flags website by selecting the “Promo” tab and entering the code UNT2024. Get all the details about UNT Alumni Day at Six Flags, and don’t forget to wear your favorite UNT attire!

FUTURE DOCTOR SEMINAR
Learn what it takes to become a doctor and experience a “day in the life” of a current medical student with a VIP tour of the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 3.
Space is limited, so register on Handshake by Friday, March 29, to secure your spot. Students are responsible for their own transportation, but lunch and UNT HSC merch is included.
