STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
If you’re a continuing student looking for more scholarship opportunities, take time to start researching prestigious nationally competitive scholarships this summer, as some may require endorsement by UNT’s internal nominations committee.
Speaking of funding, undergrad students may earn a $500 award by applying for the UNT Undergraduate Research Fellowship. The deadline to apply for a 2024-25 URF placement is Thursday, June 20.
The URF does not require any prior research experience, but it does require a brief statement (written by you in collaboration with your prospective professor) about the project you wish to undertake in the coming academic year. If you haven’t already, reach out to the professor you hope to work with to start planning the process.
MONTHLY MOBILE FOOD BANK
The last Monthly Mobile Food Pantry (until the fall semester) is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, in Lot 20. Bring a bag or box to carry your free groceries, while supplies last.
