Living Learning Campus Pathways Open for Applications

In collaboration with subject matter experts in Infrastructure and Sustainability, the Office of Sustainability is offering a series of Living Learning Campus Pathways to provide immersive learning opportunities that connect classroom knowledge with real-world experience in sustainability. The Project Partnership pathway, launched this year, offers collaboration opportunities to faculty, staff, and students on a rolling application basis.

We are excited to announce two opportunities for students passionate about sustainability:

|
|
Living Learning Campus Fellowship
This program offers students the chance to work on sustainability projects aligned with Georgia Tech’s Climate Action Plan and Institute goals. Fellows collaborate with the Office of Sustainability team over one to two semesters, contributing solutions and presenting their findings.
|
|
|
Office of Sustainability Student Assistantship
Student assistants support the day-to-day operations of the Office of Sustainability and assist with campus projects. Responsibilities include creating written and graphic educational content, event planning, research, and data analysis. Preference is given to students with at least two years remaining at Georgia Tech, as assistants often work with the office on long-term projects.

Applications are open until March 15, 2025, with positions starting Fall semester.

SMART Campus Forum Series: February 20, Noon – 1 p.m.
|
|
|
Sustainability Showcase: February 27 – 28
|
|
|
|
Held the week of March 3 – 7, Georgia Tech Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week encourages partners around campus to organize and host SDG-focused events (such as workshops, service projects, or conversation panels) to help showcase the many ways Georgia Tech is making progress toward achieving these global goals on a local level.
