Save the Date for Commencement and Order Regalia

Please save the date of Sunday, May 17, 2026, for the university-wide Commencement on the National Mall. Faculty are invited to march in the academic procession with the university’s leadership. You will receive information on how to register in the spring semester.

Review the Commencement Week schedule for the date of your school’s celebration in May.

You are required to provide your own regalia to attend Commencement Week events. Regalia is available to rent or purchase online through Thursday, April 2. It will be available for rental only from the Campus Store beginning Monday, April 13.

If you are renting regalia, select “Graduation Caps and Gowns” and then “Faculty Rental Homeship”
If you are purchasing regalia, select “Fine Quality Regalia”
When renting or purchasing online, you should select regalia from the institution where you received your highest or last degree

The university will provide a $200.00 reimbursement on all regalia purchases. Receipts must be submitted within 60 days of your order date.
