Contact Alejandra if your affinity group would like to contribute to Diversity Week. Contributing to Diversity Week can look like selling your favorite ethnic food (individually packaged), playing a traditional board game, tabling to share resources and information, showing a movie, etc.

Meet Your Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team
From left to right, Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion, Kathleen Kim, Sr. Coordinator for Student Services and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Arion Rogers, and Assistant Director of Student Services and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Alejandra Hernandez. We are currently part of LMU's Anti-Racism Workshop Training Series for staff and took part in LMU's Cultural Consciousness Conversations with LMU's Vice President of DEI, Jennifer Abe. We all work closely together with affinity groups to help sponsor programs and events. The team also provides support and shares resources related to DEI. Arion and Alejandra are located on the first floor of Founder Hall.

Dia de los Muertos Altar
Stop by to see La Raza's Dia de los Muertos Altar at the security desk of Rains Library from October 25th to November 5th. There will be a blessing of this ofrenda on Monday, Nov. 1 at 1 pm.

Book the Multicultural Room
Located in Casassa 404, the Multicultural Room is a space where you can cultivate a community that is rich in diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Members of the Law School community are encouraged to make use of the room to further their understanding and appreciation for the diversity of cultural identities here at Loyola. The room is available by reservation only. Student organizations, faculty, and staff can use the room for general meetings or special events.
