My Bluegrass Story TV Show Premieres Friday
On Friday, January 21st, My Bluegrass Story premieres on RFD-TV. Produced by the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum located in Owensboro, Kentucky, the first episode features legendary bluegrass artist and Grand Ole Opry member, Rhonda Vincent.
Additional guests for season one include Del McCoury, Doyle Lawson, Dan Tyminski, Tammy Rogers of The Steeldrivers, Darin and Brooke Aldridge, Russell Moore, Becky Buller, Joe Mullins, Noah Wall of The Barefoot Movement, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley and Tony Kamel.
The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum is hosting a free watch party to view the premiere of My Bluegrass Story Friday evening, January 21st. This event is free to the public and includes live music in the lobby of the Hall of Fame beginning at 6 pm central and the premiere of My Bluegrass Story in Woodward Theatre at 7pm central. Local musicians are encouraged to bring an instrument to participate in a free, open bluegrass jam.
Each episode of My Bluegrass Story was filmed in Owensboro, Kentucky at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Featuring intimate interviews with the artists, My Bluegrass Story explores the individual journeys that shaped the careers of today’s most beloved artists in bluegrass music. My Bluegrass Story also includes performances from the Hall of Fame and ROMP Festival.
