Joining Northwest Nazarene University’s Track Team---Congratulations Cody Lirazan!
Each year, I highlight senior athletes who accomplish their dream of pursuing college athletics. I usually do an official “signing day” to celebrate these athletes with our TBS school community. We know that celebrating Cody in person this year is not possible, but we will celebrate Cody none the less!
Below are some highlights from Cody's TBS career.
(All TBS athletes will be lettering in their varsity spring sport. The COVID-19 situation was not within their control. Below it will show Cody lettering all four years at TBS.)
Cody Lirazan:
- Mr Crusaders Award - 2017 (Freshman), 2018, and 2019
- Four years TBS Letter
- Three years WIAA 1B State Championship appearances
2017 - Freshman year - Alternate for the 4x100 State Championship team.
2018 – Sophomore Year
Tri-District
- 110mh (5th place - Advanced to state)
- 300mh (8th place)
- 4x100m relay (6th place - Advanced to state)
State 1B WIAA Championship
- 110mh - (10th place finish in Prelim)
- 4x100m-(15th place finish in Prelim)
2019 – Junior Year
Tri-District
- 4x100m Relay (3rd place - Advanced to state)
- 4x400m Relay (6th place - Advanced to state)
- 110 mh - (5th place - Advanced to state)
- 300 mh - (7th)
State 1B WIAA Championship
- 4x100m Relay-(12th place finish in Prelim)
- 4x400m Relay (16th place finish in Prelim)
- 110 mh - (6th in Prelim and 8th in championship. Earned an 8th place State Medal)
