The rivalry continues at Naz on Tuesday, February 8

Show your Naz spirit and join us for this longstanding tradition as Nazareth men's and women's basketball teams take on St. John Fisher College (SJFC) in support of a good cause. Tickets, tailgate, and t-shirt proceeds will all be donated to the Golisano Children's Hospital music therapy program, which is staffed by Naz alumnae Rosie Obi '10G and Elaine Kong '11, '13G.
  • Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Nazareth College Kidera Gym in the Shults Center
  • Women's game (SJFC vs. Naz) @ 5:30 p.m.
  • Tailgate @ 6 - 7 p.m. in the Forum (next to the gym). Alumni receive a free drink ticket when you pre-register!
  • Men's game (SJFC vs. Naz) @ 7:30 p.m.
  • Alumni reception during the men's game halftime in the Alice Foley Lounge will include dessert and an open bar.
  • Our visitor guidelines have changed as of January 15, 2022: Visitors ages 5 and older are required to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, or proof of a negative test within the previous 48 hours, along with photo ID. Masks are required indoors.

Welcome, Caroline Tolbert!

She's the new director for alumni and constituent engagement, having started on January 3. Caroline joins Nazareth after, most recently, seven years with the University of Rochester's alumni programming, last working on women's initiatives. Caroline says, "I've admired the Nazareth community for a long time and it means so much to me to now be a part of it. I am looking forward to getting to know Naz alumni and help make meaningful connections."

COVID booster clinics at Naz

Happening January 24 and February 4 at the Shults Center; open to Naz alumni and your family members. Follow the event link to schedule an appointment and instructions to follow to attend the clinic. The clinic will administer the Moderna vaccine. Anyone 18 and older can receive the Moderna booster, regardless of the dose(s) previously received.

Naz professors conduct health policy research

Hear professors Michael Chen and Lauren Brooks discuss their work examining racial/ethnic disparities in access to laboratory testing and outcomes among more than 2 million patients across the U.S. Chen and Brooks received a data access award from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to conduct their research.

Attend a virtual info session and discussion forum on Thursday, January 27 at either noon - 1 p.m. or 7-8 p.m. (EST) to learn more about Nazareth's new changemaker framework. Share your feedback and brainstorm ideas for ways alumni can participate. As Nazareth graduates, your input and involvement are critical to the success of the new changemaker initiative.

Nazareth has one of the most highly-regarded teaching programs in the state.
