SPIDER SEASON With late summer and early fall come spiders in the Pacific Northwest. Though you may think they’re making their presence known in anticipation of Halloween and other fall festivities, the truth is it’s mating season. As the weather cools, the influx of indoor spiders will give way to the “orb spiders” outdoors, which create the wheel-shaped webs we’re so often in danger of walking into on campus.
