It's All About the Numbers |
At Georgia Tech, regardless of your major, it's all about the numbers. Sure, with engineering, math and science, you work with numbers regularly, but numbers are also key for us in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, including in the Law, Science, and Technology (LST) Program. Of note in current numbers-related news, The Wall Street Journal recently gave Georgia Tech a very high ranking, and this applies to us all!
It has been a little over a year since I came on to lead the LST program, and the numbers with this program are also incredibly impressive. The biggest one is the number of LST minors. Being a number nerd myself, I started pulling and analyzing the number of LST minors since the program's inception in the spring of 2008 (with only two students). As of this semester, we have 190 declared LST minors! And although I cannot divulge the data, I can attest that the number of Georgia Tech students with Law School Admissions Council accounts, as well as the number of our students taking the LSAT every year, continues to grow consistently every semester.
Needless to say, I am very honored — and quite excited — to keep helping these numbers grow for our LST program. I look forward to working with you all as the program continues to evolve!
Best,
Prof. McNeil

Inaugural Georgia Tech Undergraduate Law Review |
As I am sure many of you have seen in my recent emails, we are quite excited to create a wonderful new legal-focused student organization: the Georgia Tech Undergraduate Law Review (GTULR)! We are one of the few undergraduate law reviews at an institution that does not have a law school. This aligns with what we are used to at Georgia Tech: setting our own path!
I have had the privilege of working with Dean Evans, the student president of this wonderful new student organization. Given my experience on the Syracuse Law Review while in law school, I am honored to be involved in the creation of the GTULR at my beloved undergraduate alma mater. If you are interested in joining an engaging and rewarding student organization at Georgia Tech that revolves around the legal world, research, editing, and writing, come out to our next info session!
Info session dates and times will be announced soon. In the meantime, you can join the GTULR on GroupMe.

| Free Online Mock LSAT for Georgia Tech Students |
This is a free mock LSAT just for Georgia Tech students! The mock test will take place on Sunday, March 2 and will take 2.5 hours to complete online. The test is asynchronous, so no need for a classroom.
Notably, test takers cannot pause the test once a section is started, so it mimics the real thing. However, you can take a brief break between each of the four sections.
There will also be test staff available just in case anyone runs into technical difficulties. Students can select if they have a timing accommodation so they can test with the appropriate timing conditions.
After the test, students will receive detailed score reports and explanations for every question! Register here with code V5624QV.
