  SUCCEED AT UNT: GET ADVISED
Welcome back, students! We hope you enjoyed your Spring Break, that your first week back is going well and you are ready to finish the rest of the school year strong.
As you get back into your normal groove, use the Navigate app to Get Advised and make sure you are staying on top of your course schedule and graduation plans.
Even if you prefer to build your own schedule, having a trained academic advisor review your classes is always helpful, like David says in his video.
Your advisor will ensure you are up to date with any degree plan changes and can connect you to professors and opportunities that could enhance your college and post-graduate career.

   VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT EXPERIENCE
UNT will again host a virtual commencement experience this spring for students who earn their degree remotely via online learning options or who can’t participate in their college’s in-person ceremony. The virtual experience will include a customized slide with the name, degree and Latin honors (if applicable) and a photo and message (if submitted) for each graduate who RSVPs for the virtual option.
A link to the spring virtual ceremony will be added to the commencement schedule page early on Friday, May 10. Students who have chosen to participate in this option — and their friends and family members — may watch at their convenience.
The virtual commencement experience is not tied to the in-person commencement ceremonies. When graduation candidates RSVP between March 27 and April 12, they will indicate in which event they will participate.
