The City of Alpharetta’s request for contractors interested in working on the Encore Greenway Park and Gateway project will close on July 25. The Encore Greenway Park and Gateway project centers around construction of a 12’ trail spanning from the intersection of Encore Parkway and North Point Parkway to Big Creek Greenway and will contain an entry plaza, park plaza and elevated canopy walk.

The city is accepting bids from contractors to support all facets of the project with the scope including all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete the project.

Have you heard that a development team in Roswell plans to open a new restaurant and retail center? The City Council is looking to develop and grow spaces for economic opportunity in the area and unanimously voted to bring the new food district to Roswell.

Partners Development Group plans to renovate existing offices and a parking lot into a mixed-use space of restaurants, shops, offices and green space. Construction will begin this fall on the new family-friendly hub with completion scheduled for late spring or early summer 2025.
