» Lady A Are Boeing For It: Lady Antebellum fans are getting drunk on a plane. Or maybe they're just giddy about the band's new album, which is called 747. "We unanimously knew that our album title had to be 747," says the high-flying trio's Hillary Scott. "The track itself has this pushing, driving spirit about it that sums up our attitude right now." Adds Dave Haywood, "We had the opportunity to write with some new songwriters and really dig for outside songs that were songs we wish we’d written. We changed our approach and challenged ourselves to try some new things that were outside of what we’d done before." Don't worry, there's plenty of time to get your seat backs and tray tables into their upright and locked positions; their fifth studio album doesn't land until Sept. 30. Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, The Band Perry) co-piloted ... er, produced ... the album with the band.

» Peace Of My Mind: Is it the vanguard of a new album, or just a moment of inspiration? On Monday (7/21) Reba McEntire released a new song and video "Pray For Peace" via her website and social media pages. "The idea to write [the song] came to me last year as I was walking on our place in Gallatin, TN," she says. "For days I'd sing, 'Pray for Peace' over and over. It wasn't until several months later did the other parts start to fall in place. Some, not until we got into the studio to record it." The tune is already generating big name support. Keith Urban posted a YouTube video of his family praying. Amy Grant posted a video of herself singing the song on her Facebook page. And while there's no official word on whether "Pray For Peace" will be on a new album, her pal Ronnie Dunn says via his Facebook page, "No record label knew what to do with it, so she made it an online thing." Watch "Pray For Peace" here.
