Does Your Password Meet ND Standards? |

Hackers Love Lazy Passwords.
Don't Be Their Favorite!
Lazy passwords are simple passwords—like 12345, or other common identifying information such as birthdays, pet names and family names. Hackers love them because they can be easily cracked.
Follow Notre Dame's password standards to protect your account information with a long, random and unique password (minimum 16 characters). Change your password before your password becomes a hacker's favorite!

Okta FastPass: Biometric log in option on your computer or mobile device.
Okta Verify: Push notifications sent directly to your mobile device.
Google Authenticator:Â Provides a six-digit code that resets every 30 seconds.
YubiKey: A physical security key that connects directly to your computer.
