| Annual 4-H Achievement & Recognition Night is Saturday, October 14th

Ziegler Building at Washington County Fair Park
- Evening starts at 5:30pm with salad, pizza and dessert. The program begins at 6pm, which includes brief business conducted by the Washington County 4-H Leaders Board, Awards & Recognition, and ends with entertainment in a Game Show format.

Invitations are being mailed to youth members and adult volunteers who are receiving recognition

| Save the Date: Youth Officer Training & General (Club) Leader meeting on Oct 26
|
- Thursday, Oct 26, 6-8pm at Washington County Fair Park

If you haven't yet sent your club officers' names to the Extension office, please do so as soon as possible, so we make sure they are invited to the Oct 26 training
- Club leaders will meet for 4-H program updates while youth officers attend their separate trainings
- Watch for more information to come!

| Fall Community Service Project
|
Message from the Washington County Art Committee: we looking for volunteers to help us spread some Autumn cheer to seniors living in Washington County. We will be creating various pumpkin themed table favors for seniors residing at several assisted living facilities throughout Washington County. The tasks we wish to complete include: painting, gluing, and paper tracing, cutting & folding. These tasks are best suited for youth in grades 5 and above.
- Saturday October 14 at Washington County Fair Park in the Ziegler Building. We will have 2 shifts available: 9:30-12:00 &
12:-2:30.
