Happy Halloween!

Halloween is nearly upon us and I am sure you are all waiting with bated breath for an update on your BTS Newsletter Editor’s son’s obscure costume choice, right?

You may recall that last year, my child’s costume was Captain Rex from Star Wars! If you know who that is, you’re a better fan than me. This year’s obscure costume is…X Lord from the video game Fortnite! Once again, I have no clue what that is, but thank goodness they've made a Halloween costume of it.

Whatever your plans for Halloween are, we here at BTS hope it is safe and doesn't involve driving alone in your car.

Walk & Ride Challenge Winners

Okay, okay enough with the chit chat. We have some folks chomping at the bit to see who won our annual Walk & Ride Challenge.

Every fall, we have co-workers who work in Bethesda team up to see who can walk the most over a three-week period. The top three teams walking the most all win amazing prizes, and other prizes are awarded throughout the Challenge.

So without further ado...

Grand Prize-Winning Team: We’ve Got Sole of ASHP, who walked an average of 212,803 steps in three weeks!
Second Place: GTM Architects, who walked an average of 180,184 steps.
Third Place: The Walkaholics of ASHP, who walked an average of 177,285 steps.

In addition, we have some other weekly winners to announce...

Our Scavenger Hunt this year consisted of two questions:

There are two Adult Learn to Ride Bike Classes planned. Where and when will they be held?

* Saturday, November 6: Cabin John Regional Park – Westlake Regional Parking lot
* Saturday, November 13: Upper County Community Recreation Center
How many Ride On bus lines serve the Bethesda Metro Station?

The answer is 7:

    * Route 30: Bethesda – Medical Center
* Route 32: Bethesda – Naval Ship R&D Center &    Woodrock Peak Hrs Only
* Route 36: Bethesda – Bradley Blvd
* Route 70: Bethesda – Milestone Center Park & Ride Germantown
* Route 29: Bethesda – Glen Echo – Friendship Height
    * Route 34: Aspen Hill – Wheaton – Friendship Height
    * Route 47: Bethesda – Rockville
