The Perfect Fit
Matching occupational therapy students with fieldwork assignments is an intensive process that can take nearly a year. Luckily, Andee Spehar M.O.T.’12 is there to help students find their perfect fit. As the associate academic fieldwork coordinator for the School of Occupational Therapy, Spehar assists students as they navigate the maze of potential placements to find one that matches their interests, skills, and career aspirations. Spehar is a graduate of Puget Sound’s OT program and appreciates how our university’s liberal arts and sciences setting complements the people-focused nature of occupational therapy. She has two small children; loves to keep her hands busy with gardening, woodworking, and baking; and recently got back into open-water swimming.
