RIP Ron Geist
We are very sad to share the news of the passing of Museum volunteer Ron Geist. Ron was a member of our Tuesday detail crew who passed away on March 9th.
RIP Ron and thank you for your volunteer service to the Museum. You will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Ron's Life to be held April 18th, 2 pm at the Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 East Derry Road, Hershey, PA. In lieu of flowers, Ron's last wish was for all his friends and family to sign up as organ donors and, if they were inclined, to make donations to the Gift of Life Transplant Foundation, Philadelphia, PA or Homeland at Home Hospice, Harrisburg, PA.

Horn Buttons: Detailed Designs and Dangers
There are many different styles and designs of horn buttons from mild to wild. This new permanent exhibit features over 80 Horn Buttons from an assortment of marques, including, but not limited to Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Mercury, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, and Pontiac, ranging in years from the ‘40s through the ‘60s.
While beautiful, these horn buttons were not always the safest.

Congratulations to our volunteers who were recognized for milestone hours of volunteering this month.

From New York to Paris Bronze
In October of 2019, we shared the news that this donation of a New York to Paris Bronze, created by Stanley Wanlass in 1982, was now part of the AACA Museum collection. This magnificent sculpture was generously donated by Judith Scotland, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, in memory of her husband Howard. We're delighted to now have an appropriate case as the permanent home for this sculpture created jointly by volunteer Lynn Shaffer who built the base, and Exhibits, Graphics, Interiors. Be sure to look for it on your next visit.
