   CELEBRATING SUCCESS
It’s the last week of the spring semester and we’re celebrating commencement all weekend long, from the first ceremony beginning 8 a.m. Friday through the 14th ceremony, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Here are some final reminders:
ConGRADulations! We’re proud of all you’ve accomplished!
Professor talking with students
   THANK A TEACHER
Now that you’re almost done with final exams, take a moment to think about the professors who made a positive impact on your college career. Make their day by sharing a meaningful message through the Thank a Teacher program.
Log in with your EUID and send as many thank you notes as you’d like (you can opt to remain anonymous).

   MAY MOVE-OUT
Residence halls close at 5 p.m. Friday, May 10, but keep in mind that commencement ceremonies begin at 8 a.m. that day, so checking out earlier in the week is better if possible to avoid congested traffic.
Make sure to follow all room cleaning and bathroom cleaning guidelines and read more about spring move-out procedures.

   SCRAPPY AUDITIONS
So, you think you can Scrappy? If you have what it takes to be UNT’s top bird, come out and show off your best performance at mascot auditions at 7 p.m. tomorrow, May 9, or Friday, May 10, in University Union 227 (you only have to attend one of the two dates).
Learn about the perks and requirements of being Scrappy. If you don’t meet the requirements and want to be Scrappy’s “bodyguard,” email tracy.frier@unt.edu for more details.

   UNT WEEKLY WORDLE
How good are you at guessing five-letter words?
Get ready for a new challenge. This week we want you to guess our custom UNT-themed wordle! In celebration of the end of the semester, the subject is all about graduation. Send an email with the answer to be entered into a random drawing for a UNT T-shirt. Keep an eye out for the word reveal in an upcoming UNT Weekly issue!

   CONSTRUCTION PLANS
Speaking of summer, portions of several streets around campus will be closing for construction. If you’re on campus this summer, stay aware of these closures by following UNT Facilities on Instagram and reading UNT Weekly.
And if you’re attending a commencement ceremony, remember that Maple Street is still undergoing construction work, so avoid delays by using another route.
