The Five Ways Organization Development can Deliver an Innovative Culture
by Tiffany Yates, PhD, OD Network Member and Trustee, and Christen Miller
Many organizations struggle with the concept of establishing innovation as bottom-line component of the corporate environment. While these organizations are starting to realize that if they don’t innovate, they will stagnate—actually achieving a culture that promotes innovation and leads the charge in their field proves to be more challenging than successful.
The field of Organization Development (OD) consistently seeks unique approaches to help their organization achieve a sustainable innovative culture. OD practitioners can provide organizations an impactful systematic approach to layers innovation into all aspects of how people approach work. Our goal is to provide OD practitioners with five strategies to accelerate an intentional culture that promotes innovation at all levels of the organization

Trevor Frierson
We welcome Trevor Frierson as our new volunteer editor of the OD Network News. Trevor has been working in the OD and Human Resources field for the past 8 years and is currently a Trainer/Supervisor at Siena College where he helps to assess, coach, and develop staff performance utilizing a variety of training methodologies.
Trevor was inspired to volunteer to edit the Network News from his experience as a career coach helping give insightful feedback to people on their resumes, job applications, and fellowship applications. He also served on an editorial board where he helped evaluate essays for an essay competition and edited articles to post on a student run publication in graduate school at Cornell University.
