Meet the 2020 Exemplary Student Service Award Winner
Congratulations to Aryaman Sharma, our 2020 Exemplary Student Service Award winner! Aryaman was selected by a panel of past National Student of the Year winners for using the skills he learned in speech and debate to serve his community. "It amazes us that at Aryaman’s age he has consistently advocated for marginalized groups even when it wasn't popular. Aryaman embodies everything great about speech and debate," says selection panel chair Jarrius Adams. You can read more about Aryaman in the nomination essayfrom his coach Kelsey Johnson, watch him be surprised with the news he's won the award, and stay tuned for a profile in the next issue of Rostrum. Congrats, Aryaman!
