Kids, ages 5-12, will enjoy games, crafts, snacks, physical activity, and free play on each day of camp. Camp runs from 9am-1pm, Monday-Friday with the option to add on discounted Swim Lessons for an extended day from 9am-3pm.

| MEET JESSICA VENCES | KIDS CLUB |
Meet Jessica! Since joining the team at Active just four months ago, she has brought energy, positivity, and a passion for working with children to the Kids Club. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the excitement members bring each day and getting the opportunity to create a fun, welcoming environment for kids and families. She loves that no two days are ever the same, and being able to laugh, play, and connect with the children is an added bonus.
Jessica has spent the past eight years working with children through schools, summer camps, and daycare programs. Her passion for child development led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, where she gained even more knowledge about supporting and understanding children as they grow and learn.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys painting, going on walks, and relaxing with a good puzzle. And a fun fact? She’s proudly left-handed!

BUILDING RESILIENCE THROUGH CONTRAST THERAPY |
Contrast therapy — alternating between heat (like saunas, hot showers, or baths) and cold exposure (cold showers, or chilly outdoor air) — does more than test your grit. This practice helps improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and train your nervous system to adapt to stress. When you expose your body to controlled temperature changes, your blood vessels constrict and expand, stimulating blood flow and helping your body recover faster after workouts. It also strengthens your stress response, teaching your body to stay calm under pressure — physically and mentally.
The best part? You don’t need an expensive setup or a full spa day to reap the benefits. Try ending your regular shower with 30–60 seconds of cold water, gradually building up over time. Or, alternate 3 minutes of hot water and 1 minute of cold for two or three rounds. After a workout, use a warm bath with Epsom salt followed by a brief cold rinse to reduce muscle soreness. Even stepping outside on a brisk morning for a few deep breaths can trigger a mild, beneficial cold response. The key is consistency — these small, intentional temperature shifts help build physical resilience, boost mood, and remind your body how strong and adaptable it truly is.
