On Sunday, May 19, NYU Shanghai’s Class of 2024 walked across the stage at the BOCOM New Bund 31 Performing Arts Center in the University’s eighth commencement ceremony. Over 400 graduating seniors (including six study away students from the New York campus) hailing from 29 countries, including 243 Chinese students from 28 provinces across China, received bachelor’s degrees from NYU and diplomas from NYU Shanghai.

The experience and growth Rosalie gained living and studying in Shanghai as well as in Tel Aviv has had a remarkable impact on her perspective. NYU Shanghai taught her how to look much deeper into issues and conflicts without rendering judgment too quickly, while maintaining a true sense of hopefulness for the future of our countries and planet.
