Here for Students
Before becoming vice president of the Associated Students of University of Puget Sound (ASUPS), Grant Konkel ’23 was a resident assistant in Todd/Phibbs Hall, where he got his first taste of campus leadership. Originally from Oakland, Calif., Konkel is a double major in politics and government and international political economy, and he spends his free time playing spikeball and working as a soccer referee. Konkel has spent the summer learning about the business side of ASUPS and is excited to help student-run clubs access funding through Puget Sound’s student government to expand their reach. “We have big goals for ASUPS this year,” he says. “We’re excited to welcome students back to campus with a three-day LogJam!, which we hope will be beneficial for the whole student body.”
