Both rising juniors with diverse academic interests, they are driven by a deep understanding of the importance of representation and student involvement.

Rising junior Easton Umansky ’27 was featured in an article in The Tacoma News Tribune about his summer research project on Tacoma's urban tree canopy. For Umansky, the green campus was a major deciding factor in choosing to attend Puget Sound. Through his research, he focused on the social impact of trees and how the urban canopy varies from neighborhood to neighborhood, with historically redlined areas having fewer trees.

The Logger Volleyball team has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the seventh straight year. To be eligible, teams must post a combined GPA of 3.30 or higher.
"Academic performance is always our first team priority at Puget Sound, and our players have fully embraced that for many years," said Head Coach Mark Massey.
