A new Data Coordinator role will be posted next week that will target the coordination and management of the ongoing collection, quality assurance, and analysis of clinical trial patient data. This role will alleviate the burden of current coordinators, enabling them increase patient accruals. You are encouraged to apply if the role aligns with your unique skillset and interests.

Over 50 participants attended the Faculty CTO Town Hall on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Key topics of discussion included CTO transformation accomplishments, promoting a culture of accrual at Moores, the PRMS Balanced Scorecard, and PI Research KPIs.

A Staff CTO Town Hall Town has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2023 to celebrate the CTO’s successes and provide an update on the progress of the transformation to date. Time will be allotted to address questions throughout the session.

Fifty-one trials have entered Fast Lane, nine of which have been activated to date across the Lung, Breast, GU, Gyn, H&N, BMT and Skin disease teams. Many thanks to the cross-functional teams across UCSD for their outstanding efforts to prioritize these high-priority trials for Moores patients.

Several new process changes and technology improvements have been initiated. Consenting physician data will be tracked in Epic for all trials beginning next week, following successful pilot tests. SOPs are currently being drafted for Budgeting processes, along with guidelines and checklists for Coverage Analysis. Many thanks to the many members of the Process and Technology workstreams for their support of these improvements.
