Commencement 2019, rankings surveys reminders, and more
Note from the Dean
The class of 2019 graduated this month into a strong employment market. Across our programs, Owen’s highly-regarded Career Management Center is reporting school-high placement results. That success added to the joy of a lovely commencement day. Our speaker Cindy Kent (MBA’96), Best Buy Board Member and long-time healthcare executive, gave a heart-felt address urging the graduates to look beyond the immediate ups and downs of their careers to live their “best, wild, and precious life.” You can read about commencement and watch her speech here.

Best,
Eric

Rankings Survey Reminders for the Classes of 2018 and 2019

Rankings season has arrived! Several publications have issued surveys to alumni populations to include in their rankings formulas for 2019. There are two particular surveys for which we need additional alumni participation to qualify.

For the MBA Classes of 2018 and 2019, the Economist’s Which MBA survey still requires additional responses. The survey itself takes 5-10 minutes to complete, and it requires an email verification after completion. Alumni from these classes can take the survey by clicking here. If you’ve already completed the survey, you will have received a verification request from notifications@zohosurvey.com.

Additionally, Bloomberg BusinessWeek is still seeking responses from the MBA Class of 2019. This survey should take 5-10 minutes as well. Alumni from this class can take the survey by clicking here.

Owen needs to meet our thresholds for each by June 10th in order to qualify. Note that neither publication provides Owen with information on respondents. Thank you for your help!

Submit a Proposal for Global Immersion AMBA Capstone Project
Alumni often comment that the hallmark of the Global Immersion EMBA program (or AMBA) is the Capstone Strategy Project their global cohort teams complete in Year 2. Executive sponsors of these projects frequently report impressive analysis from teams that lead them to make meaningful business decisions.
